Luke 6:38 – “Give, and it will be given to you. Good measure, pressed down, shaken together, running over, will be put into your lap. For with the measure you use it will be measured back to you.”
The importance of Offerings
Giving offerings is an important way we express our love, gratitude, and faith in God. While tithing focuses on the foundational 10% of our income, offerings go beyond this and are a voluntary act of generosity. When we give offerings, we participate in the ongoing work of God’s kingdom by supporting the church’s ministries, programs, and outreach efforts.
